Carol Warren was born in San Diego, California and has been a resident of Stanton for 49 years. Carol and her husband Mike Warren have one son, John Warren.
Elected to the City Council in 2008, Carol became the first woman mayor for Stanton in 25 years in 2011. She has served on City Council for 12 years. Carol’s goals as a Council Member are, to promote better communications between the city government, Stanton businesses, and residents. She believes in public safety as a top priority and is supportive of the Stanton Police Services Chief for his innovative programs to reduce crime in Stanton. Carol Warren serves on the Boards of the Public Cable Television Authority and the Orange County Sanitation District. In addition, she is on the Board of the Stanton Boys and Girls Club.
Carol Warren is the principal at Antarra Communications, an international marketing and public relations agency that serves Fortune 50 global clients to start -ups, and the venture capital companies that fund them. She co-founded Antarra Communications in 2001 and its sister company CREW Communications in 2009, she has offices in Anaheim and the Bay Area. Carol has a Bachelor’s Degree from Long Beach State University and did post graduate work at UCLA. During her free time, Carol enjoys a good game of racquetball, traveling, and playing with the family’s pets.
